Monique (Mon) 

I am currently in my third year of studying a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) at ACU Melbourne. My passion for occupational therapy stems from my desire to help people achieve their goals and lead their most fulfilling lives possible.

My experience in disability support work, community program management, and international volunteering has allowed me to assist children and adults from diverse backgrounds and with various disabilities. While these opportunities have strengthened my interpersonal skills, they have also deepened my commitment to creating a safe space and delivering compassionate care.

I am an animal lover, and in my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, travelling, and exercising - particularly Muay Thai. While I love going out and experiencing new things, I also appreciate winding down with some (entertainingly) bad reality TV!
 

I am excited to continue developing my OT skills with Little Buds as a Therapy Assistant, and providing person-centred care that empowers children and families to thrive!
